About

My name is Björn and I’m a software engineer and musician who lives in Gothenburg, Sweden. My primary interests revolve around computers in some way or another, be it programming, gaming, or just tinkering in general. Music, reading, and being outdoors are also some of my favourites. As a kid I dreamt about making games, in particular the artifically intelligent (AI) systems in games, and started programming when I attended the Swedish correspondence to “high school”. This later led me to Chalmers University of Technology where I spent five years studying software engineering, with a focus towards complex adaptive systems and subjects such as machine learning, artificial neural networks (what you might recognize more as deep learning), and robotics.

Currently I work at a small VR-focused start-up where I apply machine learning and mathematics to the problem of motion capture. Before that, I was a data science consultant in the telecommunications and automotive industries.
